What is Photoshop Club?
Photoshop Club is a new approach to digital learning. Run by Cubitt Education, the Club operates after school at secondary schools in Islington. Young people learn digital design skills, particularly Adobe Photoshop, directly, and informally, from creative professionals (artists, photographers, designers, animators).
The students create the concepts and content of the work themselves: it might be for GCSE coursework, or an entirely independent imaginative project.
Photoshop Club currently runs on Fridays and an inDesign Club on Tuesdays at Elizabeth Garret Anderson Secondary School. We are currently piloting a new Club at Central Foundation School for Boys.
